Modeling using Defined Interfaces
Modeling Using defined interfaces is simpler and more transparent – especially for complex tasks involving faults and lenses.
Entered tests, soil profiles, or boreholes are not included in the generation — the model is generated only from the defined or created interfaces.
Modeling procedure:
- Create interfaces in the Geological Sections frame (see Modeling using geological sections) or directly in the "Interfaces" frame.
- Assign the first soil layer below the terrain.
- Add individual interfaces (using the "Add (to end)" button) and assign soils below the new interfaces.
